What in the world is Fish Spa? It's a treatment that involves authentic Garra Rufa Fish which remove the outer layer of skin without touching the internal layers. This generates an enzyme called dithranol that has a regenerating effect of the skin and helps improve blood circulation. Oh yeah, it's been banned in the U.S. Yikes!
Well, I just couldn't resist. I had to try it out. The fish latched on immediately and worked on my feet for a good 25 minutes. Did it hurt? Not at all. It did, however, feel like a million spiders were crawling all over me.
It was quite interesting! My feet were noticeably softer afterwards. Was it worth it? Definitely, if only for the experience! Would you try it?!
