Bob and Diane

Happy Hump Day Y'all!  I'm baaaaaaaack!  Did ya miss me?  I missed you guys!

The trip to Vegas was great!  I had my 1.5 days of rest and relaxation and it was Nice! Real Nice!  The room at the Wynn was A.Ma.Zing.  I'll show pics tomorrow.  We ate good food, did some serious shopping, and saw Le Reve (acrobatic water show similar to Cirque du Soleil).  


Now, on to a more serious discussion.  The older I get, the more intolerant I get...about many things.  One of those is customer service.  I posted about a bad experience here.  I had another horrible encounter last week when we were leaving for our trip.  The owner of a car service, Bob, actually yelled at me, his customer, over the phone.  He said he was too busy to get back in touch with me and all the information I needed should have been in an e-mail (that I never received but he was yelling at me that I did).  Unbelievable.  The owner of a company, y'all.  What in the world?  I was so ticked, I was shaking when I finally told him I was not going to argue with him over the phone and that I had to go.  

I do have a positive experience to share.  I want to make sure I give fair balance and you don't get sick of my Negative Nelly tendencies.  So, in the Charlotte Douglas International Airport there is a bathroom attendant named Diane (not a company owner) who goes above and beyond like I've never seen before.  She cleans the toilets after each use.  She sings a sweet song about her "guests being blessed."  She supplies mints, mouthwash, feminine products, etc for her "guests."  Miss Diane even said I was "working it" in my leopard wedges.  I left with a smile and she made my day.

I guess I shouldn't let people get to me as much.  Is customer service one of your hot buttons?
