Toot Toot

I hate to toot my own horn, but I'm so proud of myself for making these for Baby Girl's Christmas party at school.
Thanks for the idea Pinterest!

I swear it's the most precious thing I've ever seen, walking into her class and all the sweet babies are sitting around the mini table in their mini chairs waiting on their snacks.  Eeeek.  I could eat them up!  Baby Girl's teacher reported that she had been sitting in her chair for 20 minutes before the party started.  She was super excited for her cookies.
I feed her, I promise!

So, my bedside alarm clock is totally on the fritz.  It stopped keeping time.  It also says it's raining inside.  Hmmmmm.

Pssssst.  Santa, if it's not too late, I'm in the market for a new alarm clock.  I found this fancy shmancy high tech one that allows you to wake up to a gradual light.  It also has a sound machine to help Mr. and Mrs. BMJ with their insomniac tendencies....

Next time someone asks me what I'm wearing for my next Holiday party, I'm saying "an extra 5 pounds."  Thanks to Natalie, I'm addicted to this double decker oreo fudge.  I licked the spatulas and bowls completely clean.  Good thing I didn't eat lunch!

I'm planning on making these rosemary shortbread cookies next.  I'll let you know how they turn out!
p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because Baby Girl didn't fall asleep until midnight last night.  Yes, 12:00 am.  She didn't cry or fuss.  She just laid there, tossing and turning, with her eyes open.  Midnight.  Anyone want to take care of her today?

  1. I am so impressed with the reindeer sandwiches!! I wanted to make them but I am lazy and bought premade cupcakes for Sterling's school. Glad you like the fudge, its delish! and those shortbread cookies look amaze. I drink baby mama juice because Sterling throws tantrums every where we go. Stresses me out. Oh and confession I shed a tear at Ashley and Jp's wedding- don't judge but it was pretty sweet.

  2. Love the sammies! I told Chris last week for his work Christmas lunch I would make that fudge. Last night was the night to make it. I bailed! Told Chris to pick-up cookies on the way to work and gave him a "pretty" tin to put his Bi-Lo cookies in for the party :0! Kind-of glad I did not make the fudge last night b/c I would be eating it right now!

Love the pic of you and your baby girl!

  5. Those sandwiches are the cutest little things. Perhaps too cute to eat? Yeah right, who am I kidding. I just saw the fudge picture on instagram as I was walking into work. I almost had to turn right around, go home, and start baking. Luckily there's a bowl of chocolate right next to me and the nye challenge is over. More on that later -- I'm about to take some serious candy to the face.
