Countdown

After a weekend full of Pepto Bismol, bathroom trips, and feeling craptastic, we're going to talk about what we have to look forward to!  Here's a countdown of some exciting things to come (TV excites me, don't judge):

1.  "The Walking Dead" is back on AMC in 13 days.  Yes, I need a weekly dose of the zombie apocalypse.

2.  Season 2 of "Smash" starts in 8 days.  Jennifer Hudson is guest starring this season.  It's going to be sooooo good!  If you didn't get sucked into Season 1 and have no idea what I'm talking about, think modern day "Fame."  I know, right?!

3.  Good ole Valentine's Day is coming up in 17 days.  Mr. BMJ and I have a babysitter lined up so we can go out for a romantic dinner.  We're thinking of trying out Burwell's.  Have any Charlestonians been there yet?  Is it any good?

4.  Bloggy Boot Camp is coming to Charlotte on May 18th (less than 17 weeks away).  I'm planning on going with my girl Catherine to learn more about this little hobby of mine.  Girls' weekend + becoming a better blogger = Yes Please!

5.  Last but most definitely not least is our Rome, Italy trip.  We leave in 6 1/2 weeks.  I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.  The only thing we have planned is to see Mumford & Sons in concert.  Eeeek!  If any of you have been, please dish on the things we have to do and see in the "Eternal City"!

I am looking forward to SMASH too. I am curious about Burwell's too. Have literally heard nothing about it yet...

  6. You are too funny! This post made me laugh. We went to Rome two years ago and it was my FAVORITE European City. It was gorgeous!! Man...where do I start? Make sure you see the Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica!!If you have time make the hike up to the top of the basilica so you can see all of Rome, just like in your picture above. It was worth the 800 steps (or something like that). Then take a trip over to the other side of the city to Trestaverde. There are amazing restaurants and authentic Italian food!! Have a blast. Can't wait to hear all about it!
