Thankfully, my formal dress still fits. It's my all-time favorite dress, partly because it's an Emilio Pucci that we bought in Paris, and partly because it always makes me feel pretty. Don't you just love it when a certain piece of clothing does that?
Here we are hiding out inside, trying to get warm. The event was outdoors but they failed to mention that in the invitation. Oopsie. We froze our buns off in our formal wear.
The food was pretty gagtastic too, but who's complaining? It was for a good cause....
|Masquerade Ball - Of course we never wore our masks that I stressed over finding.|
|I was trying to show off the back of my dress. It's all lace.|
I brought this polish to the nail salon and got a matching mani/pedi. It's my new favorite color - OPI DS Reflection. I know, I say that every week. It's okay to be fickle with nail polish colors, right?
My love for these shoes is major.
We stayed long enough to to bid and win the last live auction item. I had my eye on it from the beginning. They auctioned off some pretty amazing things from an African safari, a shrimp boat party for 25 people, a beach house in Mexico, to this....
Which is now ours. I'm still in shock.
NYC fashion week is a bucket list item for me. I have approximately 6 months to figure out what I'm wearing. I also have approximately 6 months to get my body in shape for my new couture gown by the one and only Carmen Marc Valvo.
My heart races every time I think about it.
p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because it's March 4th and feels like January outside. The groundhog is officially fired and I'm over wearing coats. Spring, where the heck are you?!
