Who knew that being an extra was such hard work?! I feel like I ran a marathon last night (not that I've ever run a marathon, but I 'm thinking you would feel somewhat like I do right now).
I think the biggest challenge was the fact that I was dressed for the hottest summer day in Charleston for 6.5 hrs when it was actually 45 degrees outside. Yes, we were outside the entire time. I was clinching and shivering so much that my body got an intense workout. Who needs a massage? This actress does! ;)
Was it worth it? Yes.
Would I do it again? Probably.
I have to admit a silly little error on my part. When I received the original e-mail with it's 50 million instructions, I thought it said $58 dollars/hour. I was floored. That means $300 of my own? Mama's bringing home the bacon!? Yes sir sign me up every day!
I found out that it was actually $58/day when I got there. That comes out to about $7/hour. Womp womp.
Teensy weensy bit of a difference there, wouldn't you say. Oh well. It was for the amazing experience, not the money (or so I keep telling myself).
I shot scenes with these two beautiful people.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend and Spring Break next week (if you haven't already had it).
We will be gone...again...for Spring Break. I have some great news, though. Natalie, Christina, and Caycee will all be guest posting next week while I'm away! I can't wait to see what goodness they're bringing to Baby Mama Juice!
p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because the contractor we hired to convert the storage room to the play room is stiffing us. Lovely. Why do people suck?
