Remember when we talked about unconventional dieting methods such as watching horror movies? Well, last night, I honestly think that I burned 300 calories. I saw one of the most horrifying movies, "Evil Dead." Imagine if "The Exorcist" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" had a movie baby.
I won't be surprised if Christina never speaks to me again since I dragged her there. She doesn't really "do" scary movies. Whoopsie. She even so very thoughtfully baked homemade chocolate chip cookies for the occasion.
There was a ton of screaming, covering eyes, chocolate chip and twizzler munching, wine drinking, more screaming, etc., etc.
After grabbing onto her jacket a million times, I finally just grabbed her hand. Poor girl. I think she thought I was brave during these movies. Ha!
After the movie, when we got got to our cars parked in different rows, we ran screaming to them. I freaked myself out a few times in the rear view mirror and had to call my bestie to talk me through the drive home.
If you love a seriously scary movie and have been disappointed with Hollywood lately for their lame attempts, go see "Evil Dead." You may want to bring your depends. At the very least, you will need a friend's hand to hold, chocolate chip cookies, twizzlers, and wine to get you through it!
If you're still with me and haven't crawled under a blanket to hide, I'm leaving tomorrow to surprise my sister in the hospital. She's having her second baby and it's a BOY! I'm taking this precious one with me to play with her sweet cousin, Layla.
I was a little sad to miss the Boone Hall Plantation Strawberry Festival this weekend. It's always such a great family activity. This is the first year they will be open at night with more rides and bigger festivities. If you live in the area, you should check it out!
After seeing the forecast for this weekend, though, I don't feel too bad about missing it.
What the heck? I thought we were over all that nasty weather nonsense.
p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because I have a million bazillion things to do before we leave tomorrow afternoon and, unfortunately, I'm still suffering from extreme lack of motivation. Ugh.
