Spring Break

Hey there friends!  I'm back in this tundra of a beach town.  Does this cold, dreary weather depress anyone else, or is it just me?!  Ugh.

It was at least sunny in Amelia Island and the pools were heated which allowed us to pretend that Mother Nature isn't punishing everyone for some unknown reason.

Thanks for visiting while I was gone.  Weren't my guest bloggers so sweet for filling in for me?  I was super pumped to have those famous ladies share their thoughts on my little ole blog space.

If anyone is planning to visit Amelia Island or needs a nice vaca spot for the family, you should try the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island.  The customer service was unbelievable.  For instance, we asked them where to find the bathrooms by the pool and they escorted us there.  Nice, huh?  This was consistent throughout our stay.  The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious.  The activities were abundant.  The food was excellent.  The price was up there but not as steep as some other beach resorts we've tried.

Daily activities March - May.
We were there on Easter Sunday so the kids were able to participate in the Easter egg hunt, see the Easter bunny, and eat the ginormous Easter brunch buffet. (FYI - I gained a whopping 4 lbs on this vacation. Not cool. I'm going to have to starve myself now.)

Here's a Spring Break photo dump for you.  I promise to have a little more spunk, creativity, and wit tomorrow after I catch up on my sleep and get the laundry done....

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I was contacted by Army Wives to be an extra!  It's happening people!  My climb to stardom!  ;)

  1. We live north of Atlanta and have considered going to Amelia Island. We have three girls also and hotel accommodations have gotten tighter and/or more expensive now that we can't throw one in a crib or comfortably share a bed. Did your hotel have family suites or would you have to book two rooms?

  3. Ritz Amelia is my favorite Florida resort! We were just there in March and it was FREEZING but we hung around the fire pit and drank wine so wasn't too bad. Glad you had fun!

  8. Adorable pictures. I love that long red dress one of the girls is wearing. Do they sell that in adult sizes? Lol! We're in IOP freezing our butts off this week. Glad you got to enjoy a heated pool and some sunshine! Very cool about being an extra again. How fun!
