Because I Said So

These are some things that you just have to try.

Why?

Because they're amazing!  Because you don't know what you're missing!  Because I said so!   (Sorry, that was the mom in me talking.)

While visiting family in Ohio last week, I was introduced to this genius contraption.  It makes soft serve ice cream out of frozen bananas.  You can add other frozen fruits and toppings to make healthy, 100% natural frozen tasty treats.  Sold to the mom who needs help with getting her kids (and herself) to eat better!  I ate banana and strawberry Yonanas for breakfast.  It was unbelievable!

Use your 20% off coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond and you can get this miracle worker for a mere $40.

I've tried countless other mani combinations, including the famous Pinterest gel manicure hack (which was the worst one ever in my opinion since it peeled off in less than 24 hours).

None stack up to this easy 3 step at-home mani.  It will last for at least 4 days and up to 7.  Promise.
2.  Paint two coats of your favorite nail polish.  For summer, I'm loving Essie Turquoise and Caicos.
3.  Paint one coat of Essie Good To Go! Topcoat.
Voila!  Now take those purty painted digits out on the town and show 'em off!

I think all the dresses from this company are designed by a real woman, with real curves, and a real budget.  They disguise the trouble areas and highlight the trophy regions.  They're super affordable.  They look expensive and are made well.

I own these:
One Shoulder Scarf Print Dress - $129
Sold Out - Similar styles here and here
I want these:
Rope Print Maxi - $119
Striped Knot Dress - $59
Embellished Neck Dress - $119

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I was told that Baby Girl looks like one of those "pageant babies" on Toddlers and Tiaras.  Hmmmmmmm.  Is this a compliment?  She does have gorge pageant hair.  She does have a toothy grin.  I'm going to chalk it up to that and pretend she wasn't compared to a pimped out, spray tanned, denture wearing, Honey Boo Boo-like show pony of a child.

*I received zilch, zip, nada for these product reviews.  I won't receive a dime if you purchase the items.  It's just stuff I like and want to share with you!

  4. I make the whipped banana "ice cream" in my food processor all the time! Pretty much the same thing, so if you haven't bought maker yet, just use your FP! I love topping mine with coconut, chocolate chips and...you know anything else to make what would be a healthy dessert, unhealthy. : )

Ivy has a perfect face/smile/hair! Brush that comment away my friend!

Where do I buy the top coat product for the mani? My toes look like I am from another country. A dirty one. I work in the yard too much!

  6. You can make "yonanas" in your food-processor and save the $40. Simply freeze bananas in chunks and add some honey to taste. So good!

Love the dresses. You should do a post about dancing on tables;)
