Bob Is Popular

After falling madly in love with a sample I received in the mail, this new face wash can't get delivered to my doorstep fast enough.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
It's an oil face wash that you apply on your dry face and then add water to cleanse and rinse.
It's truly the only product I've tried that gets all my make-up off.  Even my mascara.
My face feels so fresh and so clean clean after using it.  What more could you ask for?

These Trish McEvoy products have also found their way into my heart.

Trish McEvoy Sheer Lip Color in Florence
Trish McEvoy Brightening Eyeshadow Primer in Demure
The lipstick is a soft red that tastes like mint chocolate and the eye primer (I use it all over as my daytime shadow) is a natural light pink hue with a hint of shimmer.  Gorge.

It seems that 2013 is the year for piecey bobs.  Though it's mid-October and 2013 is almost gone, I'm toying with the idea of jumping on board.  All my girls have done it.  What do you think?  I would be cutting off 3-4 inches....  Yikes!

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I went to the Audiologist today with intentions of returning my hearing aids and she basically wouldn't take no for an answer.  She said that I need to complete the 4 week trial and that it takes a full 2 weeks to get used to them.  We spent an hour adjusting the settings so they would be tolerable and made impressions of my ear canals for smaller, "in-the-canal" hearing aids that are much smaller and less visible.  We'll see.  I'm still a big fat doubter.

  3. You're totally reading my mind about the Bob lately. I've been contemplating it. We should do it. Nobody likes to see raggedy old lady shaggy-hair ends anyways, right? You would look awesome with it! Now I need to find that face wash oil stuff...I think my wrinkles would be pleased. Who knew those Audiologists were so hardcore?!?! Well, the best you can do is give it a try. If you still hate them in 2 weeks, ditch 'em.

  4. I love that DHC cleansing oil and used to used it. I just hated having to order it everytime I needed a new bottle! I love long bobs and think they're universally flattering on everyone. I say try it! It's just hair it'll grow out if you hate it! But I have a feeling you'll love it!

  5. I say cut it!! I just took a few inches off of mine and it's made a huge difference, of course I could really use someone to come style it for me every day but oh well! Keep us updated on the hearing aids- good luck!

  6. Bless your heart with the hearing aids! On the fence about the bob. I did the bob last year and while it was a nice change I missed my long hair like crazy. I could not wait for it to grow out and you have such good hair- just saying! The oil sounds great. I swear by oil to remove my make-up!

  9. Have you ever tried organic/pure grapeseed oil to remove your makeup? I've been doing it since May and it actually keeps my face clearer and brighter, while also fighting wrinkles!
