Fat Stacks of Benjis

Happy Halloween week you ghouls and ghosts!

We had a blast on Saturday night pretending to be Jesse Pinkman and Walter White from "Breaking Bad."  If you don't know who they are, I'm not going to say it again....  Watch the stinking show!!!!!

It was the easiest and comfiest costume I've ever worn.  Though, I felt so unattractive and weird dressing as a boy.  I went all out, facial hair and all.   Next year, I'm going as someone pretty, or a zombie.  We'll see.  I'll be a girl either way!

I tried to stay in character all evening but I didn't know very many people at the party and was getting way too many "this cray crossdresser has lost her mind" looks.

My favorite part was the "Los Pollos Hermanos" t-shirt from Target on-line.

We brought a sweet stash of Heisenberg blue meth that we sold for fat stacks of benjis, yo!

Can you believe that I had to go to 5 stores to find blue candy that worked? That's some serious dedication.

We were asked to bring appetizers, so I went with old faithful, buffalo chicken dip, and chocolate witch hat cookies.  They are both so quick and easy to make.  They're festive and tasty too!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
(adapted from Frank's Red Hot)

1 Rotisserie Chicken
1 8 oz Package Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Frank's Buffalo Sauce
1/2 cup Blue Cheese Salad Dressing
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Chips and/or Celery for Dipping

Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Soften cream cheese in the microwave.  Shred chicken to make about 2 cups.  Combine all ingredients and spread in pie plate or small baking dish.  Bake for 30 minutes.  I made the jack-o-lantern face out of tortilla chips and black olives.

Chocolate Witch Hat Cookies

1 Bag Caramel Hershey's Kisses
1 Package Dark Chocolate Fudge Stripes Cookies
1 Bag Green or Orange Cookie Icing

Choose a serving platter and arrange cookies as desired.  Unwrap that many kisses (plus enough to taste test to make sure they're not poisonous, around 4 or 5).  Draw a thick ring around the bottom of the kiss and press in the middle of cookie, fudge side up.  Voila.  It's that easy.

My sweet Baby Girl was in heaven at the country club magic show last night.

It turns out that Doc McStuffins likes lollipops.  I think her face speaks for itself.

She is still talking about petting the magician's bunny.  She announced that we need to buy her one and she'll call it "Funny Bunny."  Ha!  3 year olds!

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because there's 40% chance of rain for my sweet friend, Christina's, outdoor wedding on Saturday.  There isn't anywhere to go if it rains.  Do a little no rain dance for her please!  And me too....  My outfit plans will have to change.  Ain't nobody got time for that.

  4. Your halloween costume is the best I have seen- reason 5,001 why I love you and we are friends. Dedication that you went to 5 stores for the elusive blue meth but it really does look real! The food looks delish and Sterling loves some Doc McStuffins too.
