You Will Love "Wash with Water"

If you know me well, you know that I come up with a new hair-brained business venture about once a month.  They're all pretty decent ideas, but I hardly ever (okay, never) follow through with them.  I'm an entrepreneur at heart and come by it honestly from my dad.  He's had about 10 different careers and 50 different jobs in his 66 years of existence.

When my friend, Stephanie, told me about her business idea two years ago, I loved the concept and rejoiced in the fact that she was a fellow hair-brained schemer entrepreneur.

Boy was I wrong.

I'm already saying "I knew her before she was famous" and she's just getting started.  Her business is going to be big.  Real big.  I would bet money on it.  The coolest thing is that it's a local business, based right her in Charleston, SC.  I can even brag that I sat in Starbucks with her a little over a year ago and gave my input into the logo design and colors.  That makes me a little famous too, right?  Thought so.

She's already received numerous accolades including features in "The Giggle Guide," and "Earnshaw's Magazine."  Her products were included in the "Lalaalu Urban Design Kidbox."

So, without further introduction....

Stephanie's beautiful company is called "Wash With Water." (And that's her beautiful head of dark locks in the photograph above.)

My sweet Baby Girl loves "Wash with Water."  She, unfortunately, inherited Keratosis Pilaris from me and her arms and legs are covered with bumps.  She also complains of itchiness on a daily basis.  I've seen a remarkable difference in her skin since we've been using the products.  There is a decrease in bumps, her skin is soft and moisturized, and she rarely complains of itchiness.  She also smells absolutely delicious after bath time!

Our favorite products are the "Sweetpea & Me" Shampoo and Body Wash

The other lovely product families in the "Wash with Water" collection are "Yummy Tubby" and "Barenaked Babydoll."

The following important information about the products was taken from the website's Q&A Section:

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I got some cruddy news yesterday.  I've mentioned before that I have difficulty hearing and that I have to watch TV in closed-captioning.  Well, I finally went for an audiology evaluation and I'm going to have to get bilateral (both ears) hearing aids.  I know things could be worse, and I know no one will be able to see them, but I'm still having a hard time with this.   Let's face it.  It sucks.  I also scheduled an eye exam because I'm having trouble with my vision.  Just get me some dentures and a walker and I'll be good to go.

  2. Wash With Water sounds great! Reminds me of The Honest Company. So cool you can call can the maker of it your friend! I'll for sure keep it in mind when I have kids. I'm so sorry to hear about your ears! :( My Grandma is pretty much deaf and has been this way for most of her life. She has Meniere's Disease and I know it's been hard going through life this way. Hopefully you're hearing aids will work fantastic and sounds like they won't be visible so that's great! I know it's easy for me to say but you can always find something good out of the bad!

These products look wonderful and would love to give them as a gift to a friend who just had a baby. Co-designer of products, extra on TV shows, you are getting quite famous...I can say, I used to know her back when...we wore a Target inspired uniform.

  7. Nice and amazing web page about and I observed quite interesting ideas by your logo design pages. I will definitely make use of it on my upcoming project. You guys are more humble than I thought. Thanks again logo design company

  11. I have a 4 year old and her PK seems to be getting worse, she got it from me and I don't want her to be self conscious about her "bumps". I really, really hope to win! Nothing I've tried seems to help it.

  12. I'm so glad to learn about these products! The baby girl we just adopted has sensitive skin and both her birth parents have eczema in the family. Liked both the facebook pages :) Thanks!

  13. I love this!!! all 3 of my kids have keratosis but my youngest has it the worst, I need to try this!!

  14. These products look amazing! Joey has some eczema that flares up and this stuff would be perfect. Sorry to hear about the hearing aids...getting old sucks, doesn't it? (But you will probably be amazed when you no longer have to struggle to hear least that's what I've been told) Let's find a totally posh & swanky nursing home on the coast...I'll save you a spot ;-)

  15. The products seem so good!! No wonder you are so excited about them...I think she will be famous too. And I LOVE the branding! Precious. I'm so sorry about your hearing loss. Is it something inherited. I wonder what the cause is. You are so young. What do you know about this. Sending virtual hugs and kisses and lots of strength!

  16. I think these products might just work for ME! And since my teenager has keratosis she could benefit too!
