5 Inches

Hi friends!  Let's catch up!

Since we talked last,

I went to the most fabulous hairdresser, Donnie Ray Allen, and chopped 5 inches off of my hair,

...went to the most amazing, magazine worthy wedding in the middle of the woods in Green Pond, South Carolina,

This Rebecca Taylor dress from Hampden Clothing was perfect for the Rehearsal Champagne and Dessert Reception.
Since my couture gown no-showed, this Ivy and Blue dress from Gwynn's was the perfect stand-in.
Where the vows were exchanged.

Our transportation to the reception.
Under the tent.  Pure gorgeousness.

Each table was a special destination where the lovebirds visited together commemorated by photographs.
We danced all night long.
It was epic.
...and made not one, but 2 scrumptious pumpkin recipes,

Baby Girl prefers to eat hers straight out of the bowl.
Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip

6 oz (3/4 cup) Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Canned Pumpkin
1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 tsp Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

{Beat the first 3 ingredients with an electric mixer on medium until well blended and smooth.  Add last two ingredients and incorporate.  Serve with apples and ginger snaps.}

Baked Oatmeal with Pumpkin and Bananas from skinnytaste.com / Pinterest
...and a gourmet dinner with Meyer lemons from my very own tree.

Crispy Flounder With Endive, Pears, and Meyer Lemons
Check Mate, Martha!

What have you been up to?

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because the whole fam damily is coming down with colds...again.  I love the Fall but it doesn't love me.  I don't have time to be sick.  We have to many parties to attend!  ;)

  1. The wedding looked awesome! That sucks your dress never came in! The dresses you wore look great though! That crispy flounder looks too good! I've made a similar pumpkin dip like that but you use whipped cream rather than cream cheese! SO good!
