A Few Christmas Additions

I pretty much have all of the Christmas decorations that I need.  I really shouldn't buy anything else because who knows what will work at the new house.  I did, however, find a few things that I would love to add to my current decorating repertoire....  (After Thanksgiving in my house!)

I've been looking for a contemporary, simple Nativity Set forever.  I've found a few but they're all a million dollars (a teeny exaggeration) and no way no how am I going to invest a fortune into something that's on display for only a month.

The search is over.  I found it.  And it's so reasonable.  I just love it.  I need to order it ASAP before it's sold out.  I have the absolute perfect place to put it.  I can't wait.

I love the idea of monogrammed, red bordered napkins for my dining room.  I set the table using my Pottery Barn Christmas China and platinum chargers.  These would coordinate perfectly.

I vow to give the rest of these lovelies a happy, festive, loving home.

Do you have any new Christmas additions this year?

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because it's 4pm, pouring down rain outside, and I have nothing to feed the family of 5 tonight.  I don't feel like going out to the grocery store or to a restaurant in this monsoon.  We ordered pizza last night, so that's out.  The youngsters are pretty picky and our usual back-up Thai take-out isn't going to cut it.  Any suggestions?!  I'm feeling uber unmotivated in the culinary department this week.  I'm blaming it on the weather....

  1. Grilled cheese and soup? Every kid likes grilled cheese! I'm dying for a white fluffy tree skirt! The reindeer dinnerware is so cute!

  2. This sounds gross but we always go with eggs/omelet/egg sandwich on those nights (which seem to happen at least twice a week if not more;)

  3. Spaghetti or lasagna!? I so want Christmas china. And the nativity set is so lovely and simple. I need one of these over another friggin' reindeer or nutcracker. Happy Turkey day to y'all!

  4. I had the same problem last night. Went with takeout, had some one else pick it up, always a good call. Terrible weather! Hoping for a prettier day tomorrow!
