Hello, Goodbye, and Merry Everything!

Hi friends, it's been a little while.  I've been meaning to chat over the last few days, but you know how crazy busy it gets over the Holidays....

We had a festive weekend of Christmas parties, Christmas with grandparents, trying out a new restaurant called The Granary that may be one of my new all-time Charleston faves, and the entire family getting over pink eye.

I've fallen madly in love with one of my stocking stuffers (that I just had to open and couldn't wait for Christmas to open).

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I love The Wet Brush more than the Mason Pearson brush I purchased a while back.  Now all the girls in the family will own one.  If you have little girls with long hair, this brush is a necessity!!!  It never hurts or pulls hair, wet or dry.  It saves a ton of tears and patience.

We've been enjoying our famous, annual Rosemary Shortbread Cookies.  They are truly amazing.  Though I share just about everything on the blog, this recipe is a family secret.  Sorry friends.

We're having lobster tails, mac and cheese, and roasted vegetables tonight for Christmas Eve dinner.  We also have a little caviar to help get the party started.  We're pairing everything with Brangelina's famous Miraval Rose wine that Mr. BMJ surprised me with from Southern Season.  (On a side note:  If you live in Charleston, you have to go to that store.  It's mind blowing!!!)

We're planning a quiet, low key day tomorrow with Baby Girl and then we're off for a quick mini vaca in Atlanta.  I can't wait to report all the details.

We'll talk soon!  Until then, have a Very Merry Everything, be safe, be happy, and thanks for reading friends!

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because my sweet mom wrapped about 80% of all the presents going under the tree!  Yay!  I just have a few more to wrap tonight and then we can get a few more "House of Cards" episodes under our belts.  Yes, we're crazily addicted to a TV series once again.  Is anyone else in the same predicament?

  3. Ok you're like the 10th person I've heard say the wet brush is legit so I think I need to finally just bite the bullet and buy one! Hope you had a great holiday!
