Hostess With The Mostess

Tis the time of year for parties!

I think we have a Christmas party every weekend from now until after New Year's.

How fun...and exhausting.

A few weekends ago, when I was a hostess with the mostess, I received some lovely and thoughtful hostess gifts.  Though they are never required, they certainly are a nice gesture and are always much appreciated.

Three of my friends gave my favorite wines (a new Rose to try, Whispering Angel Rose, and Boomtown Chardonnay).  They certainly do know me...and my blog!

Another friend gave me the adorable Gift Tags below.  What a unique and useful gift!

I'm attending her party this weekend so I'm giving the delicious Rewined Special Edition Wine Under the Tree Candle.  I love these because they're locally made in Charleston, are wine themed, and the containers are made from repurposed wine bottles.  What a brilliant idea!  If only it was mine....

I rounded up some things that I would love to receive as a hostess.  They're all under $25!  Remember, it's the thought that counts!

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I took Baby Girl to see her first movie in a movie theater yesterday.  We went with my friend, Amy, and her daughter Ella who is Baby Girl's best friend.  We saw "Frozen."  It was such a sweet movie and the animation is beautiful.  I was crying in the first 15 minutes of the movie.  I laughed a ton too.  I give it two thumbs up and think it's a must see, especially for little kiddos!

  3. I've been wanting a Rewind candle forever. I've heard so many good things about them. Is it weird that I want to see Frozen?! It looks so cute and I'm a sucker for Disney movies!!

  5. what a great candle!! And so cute that you and your baby enjoyed Frozen with your besties. I have only taken little A once to the movies...she is so sensitive and gets scared so easily.

  6. What gorgeous candles! I bet you could even make them with some Scentsy wax and cutting your own wine bottles :-)

  7. The Rewined candles are definitely the perfect hostess gifts. I also love season tea towels, or even wrapping a bottle of wine in a cute hand towel with a bow.
