I have a ton of "sayings." You never realize how many silly things you say over and over until you have a child and hear them come out of their sweet little mouths. Thank heavens baby girl hasn't picked up on my potty mouth tendencies. Some of the things sayings she's learned from me are:
"Burr rabbit no fur"
"Dry as a bone"
"I love a parade" (sung just like Clark W. Griswold of course)
"No way hosay"
"I love you too much"
...and last but not least...
I say I need to put on my stretchy pants every night after dinner. Who doesn't love a good pair of stretchy pants? During times like last week when we were cooped up inside because with ice and bronchitis, I wear my stretchy pants as much as possible.
I found these pants at Target a few weeks ago. They are seriously the softest pants I've ever owned. They feel like butter. They're so inexpensive that I'm going to go back and get another pair in black. I bought a size Medium because they're stretchy and clingy and I don't like anything restrictive when I lounge and sleep.
Slippers are my thing. I don't like to go barefoot. These feel like I'm walking on soft fuzzy clouds. I've had mine for a few years and it's time to get a fresh pair. They make me happy. Every day.
I put this robe on every time I get out of the shower. It's terrycloth on the inside and microfiber on the outside. It's warm enough but breathable. I get too hot in the ones made out of chenille. This one is just like the kind you wear at the spa! Mr. BMJ has a matching robe in tan.
p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because I ran yesterday with my friend Amy and it's the first time I haven't gotten shin splints. I concentrated on landing in the middle of my foot versus my heel. What a difference!!! I may even learn to enjoy this running thing! It's so much more enjoyable with a friend and time passes so much quicker!
