Cheery and Dreary

Yesterday was in the 70s and we dressed like Spring was in full bloom!  It was glorious.  I wore flip flops for the first time in 6 months.  Baby girl busted out her bright yellow sandals and looked so cheery in her new Target outfit.

Today is in the low thirties.  How does that even happen?  We are in sweaters, boots, and winter coats.  I hate hate hate hate hate it.  I declared that Winter was over.  Why the heck isn't anyone listening to me?!

Onto a happier subject, I volunteered at the Cinderella Day event this past Saturday.  Cinderella Day is a non-profit charity that provides girls in need free dresses, shoes, and accessories to make their proms magical.  If you didn't see these on Instagram, here are "my girls" all dolled up in their new prom dresses.

It was such a wonderful event and really made me remember how fortunate I've always been to never want for anything in this life.  It was a humbling and touching experience to say the least.  I will definitely be doing this every year.

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because Baby Girl and I are going to the circus on Saturday!  I can't wait to see her face when she sees the elephants!

  3. If it is going to be winter, just let it be winter. And if it is going to be spring, just let it stay spring. I cannot take this back and forth, I never know what to wear!

What a wonderful cause. I've donated some dresses to the project in the past! I love this.

  9. I love the little Spring time outfit with the yellow sandals. It makes you want to go out to the park and run. It is so fun to dress up our little angels in cute toddler girl outfits.

  12. The Cinderella Project is such an amazing program. My grandmother volunteers at the Dream Center so I have sent some past prom and pageant dresses with her to donate. :)
