Jeepers Creepers

Where'd you get those peepers?

The only time I wear fake eyelashes is on Halloween.  If they look horrific, people will just think they're supposed to be scary and not because I'm completely incapable of putting them on myself.

That all changed when I received Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes from Influenster to try out.

Even when I totally messed up my right eye and had to reapply, they looked perfect.  They were so naturally looking and so easy to put on that I may just wear a pair every weekend!  Or maybe I should just go for the gusto and get eyelash extensions?

Long lashes > Short lashes

I was wearing the "Sultry" design.  It flares out on the sides for a lovely, dramatic, effect.

They're available to order at Beauty Online Supply.
The website says they're sold at tons of stores, including Walgreens, Target, CVS, and Wal-Mart.

What do you think?  Do they look natural?  Would you wear them?  Have you ever considered semi-permanent eyelash extensions?  How do you like those dark circles?

In other beauty news, I'm having serious issues with my eyeliner these days.  I look like a raccoon by the time I walk out the door in the mornings.  I've tried a ton of different brands (Loreal, Too Faced, Revlon, Tarte, Prestige, and Chanel), but they all run.

Do you know any tricks to prevent this from happening?  Do you have a fool-proof, absolutely stays put, no running what-so-ever eyeliner?  Please help!  I'm tired of looking like this....

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I've lost a pound a day since the start of my detox/weight loss diet.  Not too shabby, eh?  I can mostly tell in my belly.  It's not so giant and jiggly.  Giving up the wine has been the hardest part, but it's Friday and I can have my BMJ on the weekends!  There's a healthy pour of Rose with my name on it.  TGIF friends!!!

  1. These are cool! I got them too and feel very glam when I wear them.

  2. They look really good! I have never tried false eyelashes for fear I will glue my eyes shut :P

  3. Well Amy, I only take eyelash advice from individuals with a PHD in mascara so i'm so glad I read this! Have a fab weekend and congrats on your success with your detox/diet - thats so awesome!!

  4. oooh they look good! enjoy that wine! lord knows i'll be drinking too much of it tonight. ;)

  5. I love Sonia Kashuk's eyeliner. It's sold at Target. No smudging! Good job with the falsies! I went through a whole thing of individual lashes one time and couldn't get a single one on!! So I've given up! May need to give it a second chance!

  6. I love wearing falsies!! It's amazing how just giving up wine during the week can help you de-bloat and drop weight!

  7. I am horrible at false eyelashes but actually have an appointment to get the Novalashes next Saturday! Will do a full post on how those work soon. Long lashes always look so pretty and effortless for sure. And I love the Revlon Color Stay eyeliner! The best I've found thus far.

  8. Congrats! I def. think those lashes look way more natural than other brands, I really liked them!

I use Bobbi Brown gel ink liner. I use one of their brushes to apply and it works really well.

  9. in Perversion and for liquid liner. There are my favorite black eyeliners and don't budge! Keep up the great work!

  10. so glad you liked them! the only time i used false eyelashes was for my wedding...i loved them but i am too chicken to try them out again. i guess i should get over that! xo jillian - cornflake dreams

  11. The eyelashes look great!!! I am a Mary Kay consultant and our new gel eyeliner is THE best eyeliner I've ever tried (and i've tried a LOT of them). And at only $18, it's a no-brainer! :)

  12. The lashes look great! What kind of glue did you use?

A toast to you for sharing your thoughts!
