3 Pumps and Voila

You know I always share my new, amazing, product finds with you, right?

We're friends, after all.

And I'm your personal product guinea pig.

I've been hearing so much noise about the new Bare Minerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation that I just had to see what all the commotion was about.

I was two pumps away from finishing my Guerlain foundation (which I liked a lot, but there's almost always room for improvement), so it was perfect timing.

I went to Ulta to find get "matched" with the perfect shade and of course, was suckered into buying the "special" Bareskin Perfecting Face Brush to go along with it.

I'm the Bare Linen #3 shade and the brush is definitely worth the $28.  You put 2-4 drops in the "well" of the brush and buff it all over your face until it's blended.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the best foundation I've ever worn.

With three pumps, is a very natural, medium coverage to hide all of my sun spots, red spots, and other skin nonsense.

It doesn't feel like I'm wearing foundation.  It doesn't look like it either.  It just looks like I have naturally smooth, flawless skin.  That's the goal, right?  Trickery.

I still use my Hourglass primer and use the Hourglass Dim Light finishing powder.

Easy, Breezy, Beautiful.

Oh wait, wrong brand.

You get the picture.

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because we had an architect meeting this afternoon to revise our original house plans.  The Architecture Review Board in our new neighborhood flat out rejected them because they're "too modern for the street."  I'm anxious for my Amazon order of 1 plastic St. Joseph statue and prayer to come in so I can bury it and get our house sold.  Has anyone ever heard of doing this?

  1. Yes! Bury upside down, according to my Irish-Catholic Mother.

  2. We have done the St. Joseph thing with 4 houses and they have all sold within a few weeks. It has to be upside down and away from your house. You also have to display your St. Joseph in your new house.

  5. Aside from the very obvious picture of foundation on the post preview, my first thought was, "Is this about breast feeding??" Idiot, much hah? I'm very curious about this product. MAY have to hop on Amazon 'cause you're kinda convincing me. Haven't heard of burying little St. Joseph but what's the harm?

  6. And PS the Dominos' ad in Spanish at the bottom of your page both intrigues and tempts me beyond reasonable means haha.

  7. I was SO tempted to buy that foundation the last time I was in Ulta, but I had just bought (and fallen in love with?) the It! CC cream. Oh my fickle self and my wandering eye now need to go check it out thanks to this post ;-) Tell the "Board" in your new development they'll thank you guys in 10 years for being ahead of current/old trends. And I'm totally buying that statue to bury so our condo will FINALLY sell! Will say a prayer for your house too!

  9. Do the St. Joseph- we swear by it up here!! Fingers crossed it works. Ok I've been on the hunt for a good foundation for the days when I need more than tinted moisturizer-but most of it just cakes on my face so badly. I'm going to give this one a try... I use mostly bare minerals now so I hope this won't break my skin out.
