It's going to be a crazy couple of days getting ready for our big upcoming trip to Mexico.
We had a busy, productive weekend full of laundry, cleaning, and organization.
It started off with a bang at the Library Society's Annual Monte Carlo Night. Each attendee received $20,000 of "monopoly money" to gamble at one of the many casino tables. It was a night of drinking, eating, gambling, laughing, chatting, and prize winning. We played Black Jack most of the evening and did pretty well. I turned $20,000 into $139,000. I think we need to take the crew to Vegas, but first, we have to find real money. Gambling is so much easier and more fun with pretend money!
I decided to wear my 20 Year Reunion dress. First of all, no one from my home town was there. Second of all, the reunion is at a dive bar in Anderson, SC. I may have to rethink my outfit if everyone is wearing jeans! I didn't want to miss an opportunity to wear this gorgeous dress!
A note about my shoes....
I've been obsessing about the sold out Zara nude heel sandals for forever and a day. I found similar ones by Stuart Weitzman and Manolo Blahnik and but they are $398 and $725 .
Then I discovered the Steve Madden Stecy Sandals in nude patent.
These little lovelies are $80 and go with every single thing in my closet. They are the perfect, affordable summer sandals.
I'm usually a size 7 1/2 but am wearing an 8. They run a wee bit small.
p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because we're off to the pediatrician once again due to Baby Girl's nighttime cough. More antibiotics and steroids for her. Poor baby.
