You may have seen me sporting rolling skates for the first time in 20+ years on my Instagram feed.
We attended a 40th birthday party at a roller skating rink on Sunday night.
I'm still sore from the whole ordeal.
I used to be an excellent skater. I could turn, skate backwards, go down on one leg, and really show my skills. I really rocked my white skates with pink pom poms, pink laces, and pink stoppers back in the day.
Skating is definitely not like riding a bike. Anyone who tells you that is a LIAR! It's so much harder than I remember. Though I didn't bust my rump, I didn't impress anyone while skating as cautiously and slowly as possible around in circles. I had to slam into the wall to stop myself because I was too chicken to use the stoppers. It was definitely a sight to behold.
While at the party, I kept thinking about how cute Megan (one of the guests who could actually skate well) looked in her floral print blouse and royal blue jeans.
As any crazy creeper would do, I asked her if I could take her picture for "Style Spotting." She's not a complete stranger, but I definitely felt weird explaining what it was for. She hesitantly agreed and told me where to find her stylish ensemble.
Of course, my luck would have it, that her Zara blouse and Jeffrey Campbell flip flops were sold out, but I found some other cute floral tops (all under $100) to help you recreate the look. Her jeans are DL1961 which is my favorite brand! Her necklace is from Jane Pope Jewelry. The yellow gold is sold out, but I found a similar one in white gold and one from Max and Chloe.
Floral is all the rage this season. Now go find some flower power for yourself!

p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because I was unfortunately cut from all of the scenes in the "Reckless" Premiere. I had to watch that low budget, trashy, confusing show on fast forward a million times but couldn't find a glimpse of myself. All that work for nothing?! Ugh. My "extra" days are over!
