Fringe Benefits

In addition to finding my new favorite fall color (Aubergine) while in NYC in September for Fashion Week, I discovered another gorgeous trend.

....FRINGE....

I lost count of how many fringed booties I fell in love with.  They still visit me in my dreams.

In my opinion, there are two types of fringe:

1.  Fringe that makes things interesting, but not necessarily pretty.  This fringe reminds me of Halloween costumes and the Wild Wild West.  Not really the look I'm loving.

2.  Fringe that adds texture and interest.  It's fashion forward and looks expensive and well-made.  My favorite is fringe made from suede or leather.  Gorgeousness.  It also adds a little extra something to a cozy sweater or scarf.

If I went on a fringe binge, these would be my top picks!

What are your fringe feelings?  Love it or hate it?

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I'm so happy with the way Baby Girl's Halloween costume turned out.  I'm not crafty and generally suck at anything DIY, but I made a killer banana spider!
