Playing Catch Up

Wow, it feels like I've been away for a month.

My family was in town for 10 days and I needed a little time off to spend with them and play Suzie Cruise Director.

We packed in a ton of fun in those ten days from Ivey's birthday, to my mom's birthday, my niece's birthday, a rode trip, a visit to Clemson, eating out every meal, carriage rides, ghost walks, going to the movies to see Gone Girl, and lots and lots of shopping.

Whew.  I'm still recovering.

Here's a little photo montage in case you want to feel like you were there....

Thank you to everyone who entered the Anjolee bangle bracelet giveaway!  You all are the best!

Congratulations to Christina O.  Enjoy friend!

p.s.  Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice?  Because I'm thinking about cutting off my hair.... Again.  My medications are making my hair fall out by the handfuls.  I can even feel some bald patches at the back of my head.  This breaks my heart since I've always considered my hair to be one of my best features.  I'm thinking about getting a long, angled bob and going platinum.  Similar to this picture of me circa 2008 but more angled.  What do you think?

  3. So much fun - but yes I'm sure you are tired! Go for the long bob; you'd rock it! And then less stress about your hair too :)

  4. What a fun time with your family! I say go for the long angled platinum bob, very styish! I've been thinking about it myself because I know postpartum hair loss is not going to be a friend of mine in a few months, ugh.

  5. look how big your smile is in your family pics! that makes my day. so sweet. of course i am 100% for going short...and love love love an angled bob. you'll feel so refreshed and like a new person. and it'll always grow back if you don't love it. but trust me, short hair is so much easier. do it do it!

  6. I am so sorry your hair is falling out. You have handled your diagnose with pure grace and I really admire you as I know what you are going thru is tough. You would look amazing with a platinum bob and you know Donnie Ray would do an amazing job!!

  7. I am so sorry about your hair! That was one of the things that was happening to me over the winter that is so hard because you can't control it! I'm sure you are taking tons of biotin and fish oil..etc so since all you can do is play with it I say cut it! Your daughter is adorable and didn't you love Gone Girl? Those Frozen girls....if I was a hot college aged chick I would totally make myself a website and do princess parties every weekend!!!!
